I found a pic of Venom in a santa hat here on this great site. It's probably still in my recently faved. Well being a huge fan of Venom, I showed it to my friend. I then decided to do a little story to it as well. It only took me a couple minutes to think and type and it's a little off if you have the ability to notice the slight inconsistencies, but here it is.

You're in the living room on christmas eve, it's dark, really dark and you're trying to fall asleep on the couch. The dark begins to lul you to sleep. The warm atmosphere and the smell of pine in the air fill your lungs and the blanket on top of you feels as though it's hugging you in it's warmth. You sigh happily thinking tomorrow's the big day. You'll open all of your presents and finally get that Twilight cardboard cutout of Jacob you've always wanted. From the edge of your consiousness you hear something, it sounds like water dripping and small scratching coming from the fireplace. Your stomach jumps and your mind races thinking 'Oh my god santa's real!' There are some thuds on the roof and you slowly roll off the couch and grab your flashlight from the cofee table. You cuddle up in your blanket and walk on your knees slowly to the fireplace. You hear something like muffled speaking, the entire time your heart and mind are racing in unison. As you get there the dripping has stopped and you can feel something moving just inside the fireplace. You fumble with the flashlight for a moment, the entire time you feel scared and excited at the same time. You hear a low raspy voice say "Merry Christmas." And when you finally turn the flashlight on and point it at the fireplace, there's that face. A deep black-purple with ragged white circular eyes and half of it's head entirely obscured by razor sharp teeth that are grinning at you. They part slightly and a slimy pink tounge slides out from between them. "To all a good night." Is the last thing you hear.

Oh, and regarding the Jacob cardboard cutout. My friend is a Twilight fan so I threw that in there to make it seem like it was actually about her.
